San Diego, CALIFORNIA (January 31, 2008) -- BASIC Urban Kitchen + Bar introduces a new level of culture to the East Village by presenting GRAFFITI -- an ongoing event featuring interactive art and music demonstrations from San Diego’s most creative talent. BASIC is a 5,000 square foot lounge and restaurant, converted from an authentic 1912 warehouse. The original brick walls are still intact, along with raw design elements to convey an industrial, street-inspired atmosphere. To produce GRAFFITI, BASIC has paired up with schugariver, a local promotions company specializing in eclectic artist development. (read more...)
