Basic Urban Kitchen + Bar is located at 410 Tenth Ave in Downtown San Diego’s East Village neighborhood. Converted from a circa 1912 warehouse, Basic creates a unique ambiance unlike any other in San Diego with it’s original raw structure, brick walls, high ceilings and industrial garage doors. Basic’s atmosphere is relaxed and casual attracting a cool urban crowd that live, work and play in Downtown San Diego.

Our versatile event space is available for your private parties and functions and breaks down into three distinct sections. Our venue is comprised of the restaurant/bar, lounge and main garage/bar area.  The restaurant takes reservations for groups of six or more and serves nightly until 2am. Basic’s lounge is available for lunch, dinner or cocktails and also is available for bottle service reservations starting at 9pm nightly. The lounge consists of four large suede couches with individual tables and ottomans comfortably seating 8 people each. Bottle service reservations in our lounge include immediate access to your table where you will be greeted with a smile by your cocktail server. She will help you select a bottle from our extensive bottle service menu and set you up with all the mixers needed to build your ideal cocktail.

BASIC is scheming up, or should we say Sheen-ing up, a “totally bitchin’ rockstar from mars” party with their HAPPY HALLOSHEEN BASH!  On Saturday, Oct. 29th, the Charlie Sheens, goddesses and warlocks of the weekend will rock out at BASIC for a night of WINNING! DJ Craig Smoove will be spinning throughout night, and you can guarantee there will be plenty of Tiger Blood shots on special to go around because let's face it, "dying is for amateurs."  BASIC’s no cover, HALLOSHEEN BASH kicks off at 7pm and rounds up whenever we F-ing feel like it.
